The best trek of Lower Everest region this peace is really nice viewpoint to EverestPikey Trek region

This trek of nine to thirteen days' duration usually starts from Jiri and ends with a flight back to Kathmandu from Phaplu/Sallery. Salleri is the administrative headquarter of entire Solukhumbu district. The highlight of this trek is the stunning view from the top of Pike 4070 meters, which includes Mt. Everest as well as a great number of other snow-capped peaks ranging from Mt. Kanchanjunga to the east to Mt. Manaslu to the west.

The focal point of this trek is also the Golla village. Golla village is one of the richest villages for religion and cultural aspect. The village itself is a small Sherpa village but richly decorated by ancient and festive monasteries.

The Golla village formed on a hill in an elevation of 3000m offers a wide Mountain panorama including Mt. Gaurishanker, Karyilung, Numbur and Khatanga. The village has 5 ancient and festive monasteries including a nun's monastery. En route to Pike trek one get to visit the villages like Golla, Jumbeshi, Thupten Chholing etc. This region is best to visit during March-April to sight rhododendron flower, magnolia and wild orchid and during December, January & February to avoid the chill climate of the higher regions of Nepal and to enjoy the fresh snow.

This itinerary also enables us to visit the Thupten Chholing monastery, which is one of the main religious centers of entire Everest region and is the place where resides the Tulsik Rimpoche, in his 31st reincarnation. Tulsik Rimpoche is one of the main religious figures of Buddhism.

Beyond this from most of the part one can have fine view of Mt. Karilung and Mt. Numbur, the mountain regarded by the locals as being the home of the protective deity of Solu where each year in August performs cleansing ritual at its sacred lakes. During this festival thousands of devotees and hundreds of Jakris (Shamans) walk to the lake for the festival, from the villages of all around Solukhumbu.
