Among the peaks of Annapurana region, Pisang Peak is most popular among peak climbers. The hanging glaciers in the western part of the mountains are very challenging. The huge rock slabs at the western end makes the trip difficult for climbers. See more.

A German Expedition team was the first to reach the peak in 1955. It is comparatively technical peak to climb. The view of Annapurna ll and lV, Ghangapurna and Tilicho Peak from the summit of Pisang is really mesmerizing.

Nepal is always remembered whenever and wherever a talk about peak climbing comes, as eight out of 14 summits of above 8,000 m of the world are situated here with its gracious beauty.

Peaks of Nepal came into attention to the people of the world in 1953 when Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa climbed Mount Everest (8,848 m), the highest peak of the world, for the first time. Since then, the harmonious ranges of Himalayas in Nepal are the prime destinations for any adventurer who dare to challenge peaks.

The geographical variation of this relatively small South Asian country is a mark of excellence in itself. The country boarders the tropical lowlands of the 'Terai' which is around 300 ft above sea level to the summit of Mt. Everest at 29,035.

Mountaineering in Nepal is one of the most attractive and courageous adventure. This beautiful Himalayan country is undoubtedly paradise for those who wish to conquer peaks on their own foot. Eight of the world's 14 peaks of over 8000m namely, Mt. Everest (8850m), Kanchenjunga (8586m),Lhotse (8516m), Makalu (8463m), Cho Oyu (8201m), Dhaulagiri (8167m), Manaslu (8163m) Annapurna (8091m), are only located in Nepal.

For the heavenly experience of peak climbing, Nepal Trek Adventure & Expedition provides its best service with experienced climbing Sherpa in negotiable price excluding Royalty and other government liable charges.
