The earthquake of 25th April badly destroyed tourism sector of Nepal. The information regarding massive tremor caused insecurity among tourists and they could not regain their confidence to visit this beautiful Himalayan nation. But, the site report by our trekking guide (Prakash Bhandari) and reaction of foreign trekkers depict that tourism destination and trekking trail of the country are in safe and sound condition.

After four months of the quake, it is noticed that the trekking route of Everest Base Camp (EBC) is well maintained as life begun functioning normally here. Tourism based infrastructure are sound. One of the trekkers from the US in EBC said that Nepal is safe for tourism and she also recommended other international tourists to come here.

The trail to EBC from Lukla Airport is good and functioning well. Although few teahouses in Phakding and Namche Bazar were destroyed by the temblor then, but now they are rebuilt. Also internet service is good. In past few weeks, the density of trekkers in the route is increasing. The destination is giving all the basic requirements of comfort for the tourists as it used to give before earthquake. So, without any hesitation one can book the trip to Nepal.
